My dress was taken in at the bust...and has a 12 point bustle..but thats it and I was charged $220, is that average? Also all of my bms were charged between $100-$200 for alterations just to have them taken in...

If memory serves me correctly, my bustle was $85 and the rest of the alterations were $135..... for a grand total of $220. SOunds right to me!

Mine are going to be $300 for a bustle, a hem and a little bit taken in on the top. There are a few layers of crinoline built into my dress so it's a bit more to hem.

Alterations were $100. As for my BM - they went to different seamstresses, but they each paid around $50-150 (the larger amount is bc my MOH had her alterations done 3 times cause she kept losing weight).

Mine were $275 and my bridesmaids were $60 each. My bustle is the most costly of everything.

- Shoulder had to be taking in a bit - hem - 5 point bustles.
Some places charge $25 per point.

your gown alterations sound about right...but the BM's sound quite hefty. my BM alterations is capped at $65

My alterations were $225 (Taking In The Top, A Hem, and 8 Pick-Up's as my Bustle), and my BM's were capped off at $75 (I don't know what work they are getting done yet).
