How often do you get your car washed?

With the freakin' weather, I can't even remember!!!! But generally, I am bad about it anyway

I get mine washed every other week int he winter, salt eats at your paint job...

And in the summer, I wash it myself, weekly. I love to do it, armorall and all!!

I guess its becuase my dad and brothers are CAR FREAKS.....so I get it from them!

I am not as good about it in the winter because with all the snowstorms, it gets dirty so quickly.

This is exactly the time to get your car washed more than ever. The bad weather and snow brings tons of road salt... and that can do major damage to your paint in time.

You should always get the cash washed 3-4 days after it snows. Even if you know its going to snow in a day or so... you need the wash to get that coat of crap off it.

Your car will thank you for it. I just sold my 01 Intrepid... and frankly it still shined just like a brand new car (cause I took care of it).

Take advantage of night rates at car washes. Usually after 6-7pm... the prices of some cash washes drops down to as low as $3-4 buks!

I am having a more difficult time right now getting my new car washed though. I have an Audi TT Convertible now... and the tires are so thin on it... i can risk scratching up the wheels when the car runs through the car wash track.

I found a car wash by me in Queens that has an extra wide track so I should be good. They also hand wash your car completely (no motorized stuff).

I think the summer because Mr Boots is obsessive about a clean car, but only in the summer! For his car, he's got wax, armor-all (sp?), separate brushes for the tires and the body, the Mr Clean Car Kit, polish for the hubcaps and this duster thing for the dashboard, but the duster thingy reeks!!

My DH is so obessive about keeping both of our cars clean. In the winter he gets them done about every 2 weeks or so, depending on if we have somewhere to go

In the summer, he usually does it himself, with all the above, armorall and all that.
