I was 23/DH was 25.
we did everything backwards though - moved in together at 21/23, bought house and got engaged at 23/25, married at 25/28.

I'm glad to see other young homeowners though! I'm such a minority where I work since all the other girls my age are single, live in the city and have their rent paid by their parents - it makes me feel like a freak sometimes since getting a new fence and rearranging my Living Room are as exciting to me as the new Jimmy Choo store here in midtown is to them

Needless to say, I love having this board where so many other people can relate

We did the same thing...bought a home first, then got engaged, then got married! I thought we were the only 'backwards' ones!

You're not alone! lol - funny thing is - when we first started on our backwards path, for some reason everyone thought we were doing it this way because I was pregnant and that's why we were moving in together... Same when he proposed, and then again after we got the house! My family is very odd :) well, the baby thing seems to be the only thing we'll be doing 'in order' since we'll be getting our puppy first, and we want to wait at least another year for :)
