How old were you when you got engaged?

I've seen the variations (how old will you be when you get married, how old are you now) but i'm curious about this version

i was 21 when we got engaged, and i'll JUST be 23 (my bday is 8/8/08) for when get hitched.

I'm one of the oldies...I was 30 when we got engaged and FH was 29. I will be 31 when we get married and FH will also be 31 (are date is 3 wks after his b-day)

Awww...you shouldn't feel bad, I'm one of the older ones on here too at 31. It just means that you had to wait a little while longer to find the perfect guy for you..and don't forget women are like a fine wine...they get better with age!

I was 22; FH was 29. FH and I had been together 6 months at the time. We just knew. Now it's almost 2 years later and we're still happy.

25, and everyone told 25 is the year that the most dramatic changes (turning point) happen in your life, I have to say they were right - I got a new job (that actually has career potential), moved from manhattan, bought a house, bought a car, got Engaged, dyed my hair drastically lol,,,,but anyway I will be 27 when we're married

I was 24 and I still am! FH was 23, now he's 24.....when we get married, I'll be 25 and he'll be 24
