How old were you when you got engaged?

I've seen the variations (how old will you be when you get married, how old are you now) but i'm curious about this version

I was 32 when I got engaged, and will be 33 when we get married (almost 34, we are geting married 2 weeks before my 34th bday) He was the same age. Although this is my second time engaged, neither of us married though. Glad I waited for my Prince Charming though.

We have a lot in common! Both the same age at engagement and both engaged previously. I am getting married a month after my 34th birthday. I am glad you feel the second guy is mister right. I struggled for a long time between previous guy and current guy.

3rd time is the charm...there's a reason the first 2 didn't work out. They weren't right for you. Now it will be perfect!

Aww...Thanks!! I hope so!! The other two 'engagements' were after only knowing each other for about three months, so since I have been with Fred for almost six years, I should hope it would work out. I have to say that a broken engagement is something you never get over completely. Maybe someday I will. It is just hard thinking I loved someone and they thought I was not good enough for them, but someone else was. It is not even about the guy anymore--just being rejected. It is hard too because my relationship with the current guy overlapped a little with the previous guy I was engaged too. Yeah, two engagements back to back, but with the second guy I was much more cautious and we waited for almost four years before he asked me officially.
