How secure do you feel at your job?

I am feeling insecure for the first time. They downsized from like 150 to 90 while DH and I were on our honeymoon and 5 more people are leaving this friday...

we are a project office so we are all aware that once the project is close to completion we could be sent back to our home office but if your home office has no work for you, you may be laid off.

I can't help worrying since DH and I wanna have soon.

Pretty secure... I'm also in a great industry. Sad to say but my colleague - who is supposed to do the same stuff as me isn't so i think he might be on his way out........

but to go back to your question/answers:

1. less pay might not be so bad IF it's something that you are interested in or in the field you wanted to go into originally

2. it does suck but i know a bunch of ppl that are still finding jobs - if you're the right candidate, you should get a job easier than others

3. abandoning your bosses?? look at what they're doing to your coworkers!

4. if you get prego and are at a new job - they can't say sh*t!! if they let you go, don't you think they can get in trouble with that?

But if you think that they won't lay you off there and you have a possibility of moving up, then stay there. but you need to find out if you're def secure there before you start considering that. i hope everything works out for you!

I feel secure, I just want OUT!
As soon as I am back from my HM, I will be job hunting HARDCORE!
Plus, this Oct, I will be there 5years and fully vested, so Its worth it for me to stay a few more months!
