How soon after the wedding are you leaving for the HM?

I'm just curious how soon after the wedding is over that everyone plans to leave for their honeymoon?
I figured I'd take a day after the wedding to just relax and breathe. But my FH's brother recommended to us to leave the morning after the wedding for Hawaii so we'd just sleep through the whole plane ride. He said if we don't sleep on the plane, we'll be exhausted when we get to Hawaii and will lose like a day and a half there. So he said after the wedding we'd be so tired, that we'd just sleep right through the plane ride and be better off.

Our wedding is a saturday night, I think we are going to leave on Monday, not sure yet though. We haven't even decided where we want to go though!

two weeks later. I am a teacher and we will go away on the apirl break.

We are geting married on a Sat and then leaving the following Sat. His familys time share is sat- sat so we didint want to miss out on a day
