Since we are both older, we are going to stop using protection from the minute we are married and let nature take it's course. Hopefully, we'll be expecting shortly afterward.

2-3 years. We want to enjoy married life a little first since I have lived at home my whole life (except for college).

If it happens - it happens!!! I'm off the pill, so right now we are being careful, but then we'll leave it in Gods hands!!! I already have one little boy, he's 6.

I guess I'm a little different - I want to wait at least 5 years before we even begin to try! We're fairly young (we'll both be 26 when we get married) and I'm just starting my masters this September so I want to finish with that (it's 60 credits), get tenure in a school, which means at least 3 years in the same school before I'm even eligible, etc etc etc. FH would definitely try sooner if I was ok with it but happily this is the one thing I have 100% (actually, 99.28% or whatever effectiveness the pill is) control over!

1 to 2 years. I want to either have a baby or be pregnant by the time i'm 30. I'll be 29 this Sept. And FH is 30, and i know he doesn't want to wait too long.

our parents on the other hand want us to start NOW!!

We were trying for a honeymoon baby in May of 03 and have tried almost every month since.

By the time we are married i'll be 29 and FH will be 26. We would love to start a family right away but, we feel that we need to have a house first and get that all settled. Our parents on the other hand, have been bugging us for quite sometime. They still think that our engagement is too long and we should be married already.
