I just had mine, a month before my due date.

The one I threw for my friend was about 9 weeks before her due date.

I'll be honest, with mine I wasn't overly surprised. I mean I was due in 4 weeks at that time so I kind of had a feeling. My friend had no clue and was totally shocked.

If you're not going for a surprise I would say to do it about 6 weeks before. This way you have plenty of time to get the room ready and the clothes washed.

I'm all for the early baby showers (2 mos in advance) bc my sister already had her baby when it came time for her shower (she had her son early.)

I had mine 4 weeks before my due date. I went 3 weeks early, so I only had one week after the shower. Not enough time in my opinion. 2 months before is usually good.

I had mine 2 months before. I think it worked out really well.

My shower was two months before too.

Two months before for me too. I was really surprised too.

I had mine 1 and a half months before my due date.

I am due in 7 weeks and have not had my shower yet. I would believe it would be in the next 2 weeks.
