How soon is too soon to book vendors? my wedding is in 2 years and 2 days (yay!), is it too soon to look into photographers, videographers, officiants, DJ's, etc, or is it better to book now and lock in a good price?

If u want to go with some of the really popular 'big' vendors, u may want to start looking soon. I inquired about certain vendors about 11 months before my wedding and some were already booked.

If it makes you feel better then why not book? Especially if you are positive who you want. I know when i did it, i was worried how I would feel if i waited and the one i wanted was booked just cause i procrastinated...Who knows I don't think there is a rule.
