I don't know how to cook any kind of red meat.
Help me, foodies, please.

a little bit of oil, salt and pepper and a smoking hot cast iron grill/skillet/griddle.

it depends on how well you like it cooked really. a few minutes on each side for rare...and a bit longer the more cooked you want it.

I like my steak cooked medium well ( I know I know) so I cook them longer, but I do flip a few times to keep from burning.

be SURE to let steaks sit a few minutes (resting) before you serve/cut.

maybe slice some onions and sautee with olive oil, then throw some Luger sauce with a few dashes of Worchestire sauce, salt and pepper. it's pretty good with steak.

If you want to know how LONG, I need to know how THICK

I prefer the broiler for meat if you have one.

But if Jessica is going to cook for me, I would take it any way I could get it

It's thick, though I don't remember HOW thick.
It's a freaking pound and a half.
