Is there a website where you can find out what a house or condo sold for? Or what houses in that area sold for and when? Thanks for the help!

In Newsday there is a section, no addresses, but recent sales and the purchase price in all towns.

Do you have any friends who are real estate agents? Real estate agents have access to MLS Stratus, and that gives you ALL THE INFO about how much a particular home sold for.

Here's a link to the Newsday real estate section of recent home sales, which dates back to 2000. And for the record .. some prices just don't come up .. I did a search for our house several times after we moved in, and it never, ever came up.
The following link can pull up prices for specific streets, or houses in given towns, and lists the dates.
