Re: ? How to RSVP?
It seems the inviting party went for a more traditional way of requesting responses.
According the Crane's blue book:
'Although most wedding invitations are sent with reply cards, many are sent with reply request engraved on the reception card instead. These invitations require a handwritten response. FORMAL RESPONSES are handwritten on ecru or white letter cheets. these sheest were traditionally blank but may now have a tasteful monogram blind embossed at the top.'
'Blank reply cards are sent when a bride would like a formal response but is afraid that if she does not send response cards, she will not get may responses. Since the bride provided you witht he card and the opportunity to write a formal response, you should do so.'
