This questions was much less important than the last one:
I have no idea how to write place-cards. Is there a reputable website that might show me? I already really screwed up the invites, and I don't want to mess up again.
On another note: did I do something? My posts get hundreds of views but so few replies. I always read and respond to other posts. Someone please tell me if I am doing this wrong.

What about having a calligrapher do it? There are a few LIW vendors.

Re: How to write place cards
No you're not doing anything wrong.... many people just prefer to lurk and many might not know the answer.
In responce to your question, I would just write the names the way I put them on the invites. I think normally they look like:
M______________ Table # ______
Instead of doing all these individual ones, I'm gonna put mine in a frame with a stand. I think they call them scrolls? Not positive though. Love the idea and I don't have to physically write anything.

Re: How to write place cards
I'm really not sure....maybe you can just look for pics of placecards from reviews and see how they are formatted? I think as long as they have the name/table number it should be fine!
The one thing I do know is that if it's a couple you do the couple together on the placecard....

Re: How to write place cards
Im just writing them out myself in my regular print handwriting. Im not going to spend more money on a calligrapher just to have people look at it once and be done with it. However this is still an option.

Re: How to write place cards
If you have neat handwriting you can also handwrite them- I did mine by hand since I didn't have the time nor $$ to pay a calligrapher to do it.

Re: How to write place cards
I would just ask you to not to do what was done twice to me since I got engaged:
At 2 separate events that I've gone to, my table card was made out to: 'Miss Anna K--- and fiance' even though both people know my fiance's full name! I know that they know his name because they called or emailed to ask me how to spell his name and even put his name on the invitation! So why not just put his name on the place card?
My fiance was visibly hurt that he was relegated to simply 'fianace' when these people have known him for years
Plus, I'm not 6 years old, I shouldn't be called Miss anymore...please use 'Ms.' for any single ladies over 18 y.
