HOW WAS EVERYONE'S VALENTINE'S DAY

Mine was very beautiful and romantic. We went to dinner at The Manhattan Ocean Club and we had candle lit dinner. When we got home there was two dozen assorted roses waiting for me in the bedroom. OMG the flowers were beautiful.DH also wrote me a beautiful poem that really had me crying. He is just the sweetest. I gave him a beautiful handmade card that I ordered with some boxer briefs and a pair of suede loafers that he wanted for the longest. This was our little Valentine's. Now I am basking in the after glow.

It was wonderful! He had 2 dozen long stemmed roses & a mushy card (he usually gets me humorous cards) - it was so nice!

We had dinner at a seafood place near the water which is right near our reception hall. So we drove by our hall & it looked so beautiful with the full moon shining on the water.

It was 8:30pm & we were like...in 5 months from right now, we will me married, and getting ready to enter our room and introduced as husband & wife!

Ours was really nice. We bought sake and ordered in sushi, and watched A Beautiful Mind in our pjs. It was just so nice and relaxing. FH got me a Vermont Teddy bear, and I got him a geeky love poem t-shirt, south park valentines boxers, and candy.

It was really nice, when I got home he had candles all over the living room and some beautiful gerber daisies (he really knows me - no roses ), and a sentimental card. Then he made me chicken parm for dinner- yummy!!

FH and I went out to dinner together this past weekend, so I made us a sweet dinner last night with home-made brownies for dessert. He then took me shopping and bought me a diamond bracelet for the wedding that he's going to save! I'm in absolute heaven. We came home and snuggled on the couch, turned off all the lights and lit the candles and watched 'Top Gun' on our HDTV in surround sound! Can you believe this movie is 20 years old already?!

Mine was sweet but brief.

We came home and he gave me my gifts (after I thought we agreed not to give each other anything!) He gave me some spa items and diamond and pearl earrings. Don't ask me how this man knew I was on the search for pearl earrings!! Then he gave me a mushy card.

I felt so terrible just giving him a card. I told him I would make it up to him this weekend, because I got screwed over with payroll, since my company decided this week to change the payroll from bi-monthly to weekly.

Oh yeah, then I had to run out at 7:30 to shoot pool with Darlene, and didn't get home till 11:30, so we cuddled before falling asleep.

I had school last evening, but I came home to a candle lit dinner (FH made me grilled salmon with vegetable rice), beautiful bouquet of roses (2nd one) and a bubble bath with rose petals and candles...we had an amazing time exchanging cards and just talking about our future together...

I told FH I didn’t want to go to dinner (to save money) but he had a car outside our apartment last night anyway----YAY When we got to the restaurant our table had a bouquet of calla lilies (the official flower of my wedding!) I was so happy. I didn’t know if you knew, but he was in Athens all last week and when he got back he gave me a really beautiful Swarovski bracelet. SO valentines was nice. Oh and Oscar (my pug) gave me a 'Mom, I appreciate you so much' Valentines day card with him paw print inside.

he send me multicolored roses at work and we went to dinner at a restaurant near our house. it was a place i was dying to try.

well we get there all dressed up and it was almost like a pizza place! i was a little ticked! but its my fault because i picked the place. however the food was great and we will definitely eat there again, but wearing jeans!

anyway, it was still nice because we were together!

Mine was ok. we didn't exchange cause of the wedding, but he did cook my dinner and had dinner by candle light, but at 8pm he had to go to the firehouse for a meeting, so instead of the dessert i really wanted i had 6 oreos and a glass of milk and watch american idol. now of course i'm mad at myself for eating those cookies, but hey, it was valentines day

oh, no flowers or roses either which i was a little sad about, but its ok, i'll live

Re: HOW WAS EVERYONE'S VALENTINE'S DAY

Mine wasn't quite as romantic but definitely amusing.
My FH waited to the last minute to buy a card (as he always does) so there were nothing but 'wife' cards left. He had to write in 'to-be' after every mention of wife.
He cooked filet and we dined by candelight in our PJ's then attempted to glue our invitations that won't close...

Mine was very good (with the exception of the flowers fiasco, see my post on BHB)...

He bought me roses, chocolates, a stuffed animal, mushy card.....then we went to Villa Lombardi's for dinner which was absolutely fantastic! They had a DJ and we were dancing most of the night! Unlimited top-shelf liquor was included and we were drinking quite a bit, too! It was very, very nice!

I was actually a little nervous.....FH said, in 11 days, we will be here at our reception! I was looking at the area where our table would be and I was getting butterflies in my stomach!

Mine was nice. FI did a lot of little sweet things for me and then I made him a really bad dinner. It was definately not one of my best so I made it up to him with chocolate chip cookies.

Mine was really nice. It is actually my dad's b-day on Valentine's Day so my mother and I cooked dinner and had my FH and his father and grandfather over for dinner. FH got me 2 dozen roses and what I always ask for my manicure and pedicure gift cards.
