It was a lot of fun. Turns out 2 ladies there know each other. One person, her fiance and another lady who was just recently married went to college together and these 2 girls met before but a few years ago. It also turns out they have the same mutual friends. Such a small world.

My FI got out of work early so he made an apperance and he had a fun time joking with the girls.

We had such a great time.

OOOOOOh, I knew I'd miss something fun leaving early - but I was able to get some things done!

I wanna know all the details.... I was unable to stop in like I wanted to after my work thing because we got out kinda late. I'm so upset I missed it Can we try to get one going after the holidays?

It was really, really fun! We were all sitting around talking and I said 'It feels like we've known each other forever!' and one of the other girls said 'I was thinking the same thing!' We just gabbed abd gabbed and drank (and smoked ) and had a ball.....

Thrilled is so right. It felt like we all knew eachother forever. We could have stayed there all night chatting away!

It was a great time! I met all wonderful people last night!!! It did feel like we all knew eachother and we just picked up where we left off......

Chip- how'd your interview go?

Hope more of us can make the next one

I think my interview went fantastic. The guy was hysterical. he was so funny. I got there really early and when i got there he was staning outside smoking a cigarette so we were outside talking for a little. then we went to his office and he called another guy in and after about 10 minutes the guy who was doing the interview asked me if i liked coffeee. I said yes and he says great lets go get coffee. so me, the interviewer and the third person went across the street and were having coffee. It felt like i've worked with these guys for years rather then an interview. We had a great time. I think there is a 99.99999999% chance I got the job. The guy was telling me all they were doing is interviewing 3 people. He did one yesterday, me today at 9am, then a 4pm. He was also very honest. He told me the 4pm one he really isnt interested in meeting because her resume was really bad. There were a lot of spelling and grammer mistakes. He said he has to interview her but its just going to be a waste of time.

Then I had to call my head hunter and my head hunter told me the girl from yesterday showed up late, and the interviewer didnt want to meet with her. it just left a bad impression. My head hunter said he has such a strong feeling this job is in the bag with me. They are looking to have my start on Monday if i get this job. I wont know till tomorrow morning. But i have this gut feeling after what i heard the job is mine. I dont want to get my hopes up but after what i heard from the interviewer and my head hunter its gotta be me over the other 2.

The GTG was wonderful. We all had a great time. We are going to try to set up another Midtown GTG in Feb. For those of you who could not make this one, maybe you can make the next one.

Chippa, sounds like almost a done deal. Keep us posted. Where is the job?

I think another gtg would be so much fun. I really felt like I knew everyone for years.

I will definatly let everyone know as soon as I hear anything. The job is in my favorite spot in Manhatten, Downtown. When I was with American Express I spent 5 years in Downtown Manhatten and I've always loved it. So I am really keeping my fingers crossed I get it.

The GTG was lots of fun. I intended on staying until 8 but left around 11pm! I didn't get home until almost midnight and I had to get up at 5:30 AM!!! Thank God I have a vacation next week - it will take me about that long to recover!

Chipp - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Ladies remind me not to drink 2 nights in a row. You'll see the post in Great time at Figaro's. Thank goodness for weekends.....
