Oh man!! Another thing to think about. I didn't even know there were different kind of bustles.

Well the traditonal just shows off the train a lot more than the french.. I saw a french on my friends dress and it looked kinda messy, so Im thinking they did it wrong

I don't know what the difference is...all I know is that mine had to be bustled underneath.My friend had three buttons on the outside back of her dress and when it was buttoned it didn't look so good. Someone also tripped on her dress and ripped off the button, letting the whole train down.

my train has beading so i'm doing the traditional bustle. i like the traditional bustle better too.whats the difference between a french bustle and an austrian bustle?

I think the french bustle goes under and attaches in one place and an austrain and 2 or moreattachments or 'tiers'

I BELIEVE THE DRESS THAT I AM GOING TO BE GETTING IS GOING TO HAVE A TRADITIONAL BUSSEL BECAUSE IT IS A CATHEDRAL TRAIN.....CAN SOMEONE POST A PICS FOR THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRADITIONAL AND FRENCH

Mines called a 'Carriage' bustle? Cant find any pics. It looks like the Austrian one posted but only one not two rows( is rows the term? LOL)

I had the french because there was a lot of detail on the bottom of the dress and this way it was able to be better displayed.
