Have you ever received a comment from a stranger that sort of solidified that we might be much older looking than we think we are???
Yesterday on the subway it was really crowded and I squeezed on and a younger guy (maybe around 20) squeezed on after me and accidentally crashed into me as the doors closed. So he apologized and then called me ma'am ('I am sorry for knocking into you ma'am!')! Oh no......

Uuuuggghhh don't talk to me about getting old. Last Wednesday we went to our friends house to hang out and there were about a dozen 18 year olds there, complaining about their mom's turning off their cell phones for too much texting Then the new NKOTB song came on and one of my friends and I were talking about how much we used to love NKOTB, and a girl came up and said she didn't know who they were. I was like, When were you born? She says, 1991
FH and I promptly proceeded to play beer pong and get absolutely shiit-faced.

Arrgggh. I was at my counsin's wedding last week and woke up the next day (after 10 hours sleep) feeling like absolute crap. Gone are the days when I could go out drinking and wake up after 4 hours of sleep and be totally fine.

omg me and FH were just talking about this...we were talking to our friends at dinner on sunday, and they were saying how they just signed up for a costco membership, and we proceeded to talk for ten minutes about how great costco is! im like is this what our life has come to...

I def realize I'm older last week when I get invited to go out for a younger friends b-day, I found out they were leaving at midnight to go out for the night and I'm thinking I wanna be in bed by 12:00! lol...

how about this:
FH and i went to fridays on saturday for a drink. the bartender did not proof me. my MOH (same age as me) met us there 15 minutes later and the bartender asked her for ID.
don't you want to make sure I'M over 21 too???

HAHA I'm actually GLAD now when I get carded! I usually have my ID all set and ready to be shown when I hit the liquor store
And I really can't believe some of the conversations my gfs and I have now...gone are the good ol' days talking about boys and makeup...

oh dont worry about the ma'am thing, alot of people just say that to be polite, not because you are old looking, which you arent!

This happen to me one day that my friends want to go out... I call around 11 and they were just killing time until 12, I was falling at sleep while waiting
Also I notice I am old when I am looking for recipes for the next meals, and trying to use different type of ingredients to 'mix it up'

I get called ma'am all the time- I don't think it's because we are old though- people do it to be polite. It used to upset me before but then I have seen younger people being called that- I think it's an automatic thing to say in certain situations.

Everytime I go to buy beer or cigs for FH I never get IDed anymore! But my BFF, one of my Bm went with me they carded her I felt let out
