I have 10 months to go and I want some workout ideas. I would run but I have a labreal tear in my hip so running is not good for me. Give me fun workout ideas!

Lauren, I have the cardio/weight down pat, but I still can't seem to lose the weight. I don't have self-control with food. Any advice on how to curb the cravings???

IMO One thing that might help.. if you are eating anything with fake sweeteners STOP. .what happens is your body thinks its getting sugar and is then pissed it isn't and kicks cravings in hard for sugar and carbs. ..

Do you have exercise tv on demand?
They have SO many workouts on there...cardio, abs, yoga, etc. And they're all like 20 min and under. I started doing them a few months ago and changed my diet and I see such a difference! It's a lot of fun too...you don't even have to leave your house!

I'm a trainer and an exercise class instructor so I will just keep on gettin my workout from my own classes!!! and I run on days I don't teach.

Check out your gym for classes, they are a lot of fun and having others around motivates you to work harder.

If money or time is an issue try getting some tapes at home. I personally like Billy Blanks Amped Series and Chalene Johnson's Turbo Jam.

Starvation sounds like fun....

Jokes, I am in the gym four or five times a week. I am not watching what I am eating right now, but I think I will start WW points. Me and portion control fight a lot.

Edit: Yoga is amazing. I lost weight in some strange places including my bra back size. I got fitted a month ago and I am a size 30. Apparently they make bra's with that back size.

I'm actually down about 15 lbs in the past 2 weeks from cutting my calorie intake a TON! I used to eat soo horribly... chips, cookies, ice cream, carbs, carbs, carbs...AND fast food too! Soo... Just watching what and how much I eat has made a LARGE difference to me. And, tonight i am starting the 30 Day Shred... I heard some great things about that, so I got it on Amazon for 10! I will try it tonight and let everyone know what I think. I'm planning to be down about 40 lbs by april..we shall see....

15 pounds in 2 weeks doesnt sound too healthy...make sure you arent cutting cals too low because then eventually the weight loss will stop and the gaining will begin!

Cacarina..i didnt foget about you...im workin on it

I'm toned and in shape already have been all my life. I exercise every day, so I'm not doing anything extra for my wedding.

Re: How will you get in shape for your wedding?

Ive been going to the gym for the past 6 weeks. I was doing WW while doing the gym, but I was feeling dizzy and I dont think I was getting enough protein.

My routine: 5x a week, everyday 30 min of cardio. Four days of weight training, alternating between my legs and arms and I do my abs on arm days. Fifth day I just do 45 min of cardio. Starting to feel a little bit tighter, but as my previous post said, I am having a hard time with the drinking and eating bad so I really have no one to blame but myself

I eat 100% organic and that helps a lot. I also add in some light free weights just to tone. I think I may start adding more calories to gain more mass though and then tone.
I went to the 100% organic in May and am now having trouble finding jeans that aren't in the kids section that fit Lastnight I went shopping with my mom and came to the conclusion that I'm soon gonna be shopping in the Childrens Place

okay, this may be a dumb question but what kind of organic foods do you eat and where do you buy it? So far, the only organic thing I drink is milk

Tony Horton's power 90.
Portion control along with cutting out wheat (multigrain is so much better!), foods high in sodium, no soda, no fast foods. Basically cutting out the yummy stuff lol
