How wold were you when you started dating?

And how did that relate to when your parents 'allowed ' you to start dating(This is a spin off from parenting)?

I was 14 and in 8th grade. My parents were fine with it.

I have a boyfriend form Kindegarten through 3rd grade. His nam was Jack and we were going to get married when we turned 20.

My first real boyfriend was when I was 15. People set us up. We never had 'dates' in HS either..in fact I've never been on a date..it was always just spending time with someone, kissing, making out 'will you be my bf/gf?', etc...

ETA: I thought my parents would be amd so I idn't tell them, but they figured it out when he was calling all the time and they were ok with it. On weekends we'd get driven t the other's house, and we saw each other after school a lot, b/c we both went to school in manhattan and took the train home (me the subway, him the LIRR), and so we had a lot of freedom that way...maybe too much!
