How would you package this favor?

How would you package this favor?

We're thinking of doing a soup-cup mug (like the ones from Friends...)

It will say somethign on it (not sure what yet! -- probably just our monogram and wedding date)... and it will be filled with some sort of chocolate (undecided too!)

How would you package this? I feel like it needs to go in a box. Should we just wrap the boxes? Or should we put the box into a bag for easier transport? Or something else...?

Open to ideas!

THANKS

ALSO -- how would you feel about getting this as a favor? it would be one per person...

and just so you know... FH and I love to travel, and we collect mugs from all of the places we go... plus FH is a coffee fanatic... so we feel that this favor suits us!

use some tulle and a bow with your names/ date. then put flowers or rings in the center of the bow.

I think that is a great way to wrap them. I would love to get that as a favor. You can never have enough mugs!!!

Im another one that would wrap it in tulle only...no box. The tie a ribbon around it (if you wanted to get fancy shmancy, get the personalized ribbon).
I think its a great idea for a favor!!

i gave out something similar but it was a mug with hot chocolate mix,
we wrapped them by putting them in chocolate brown gift bags with pink and brown striped tissue paper, i put the bags on the tables, guest liked it alot and it was easy for them to carry home

I would love this. I'm a coffee drinker too. You can go with anything really. Tulle, boxes, or even an organza bag. Good choice.

Re: How would you package this favor?

i think it would depend if you want people to SEE the favor right away.

if so, i would put it in a celophane bag. a pice of cardboard at the bottom to give it a base, then the mug, then the 'filling' (chocolates, or hot cocoa mix). a pretty ribbon and a tag.

you might want to put 'easter grass' or 'tinsle' (something shreaded) in the bottom as a 'nest' for the mug

you could also put it in a pretty box with tissue paper inside to 'nest' the mug. this way the ribbon and tag can be glued to the box.

both would be very pretty.

i just read that, and i see that i didn't help much. sorry i can't decide
