Tell them so much that you are going to be standing on the corner with a coffee cup the day before to get contributions..........Or tell them straight up none of ur F-ing business.
Everytime I buy soemthing I get FFil going how much was it. Now I just say I don't know FH paid for it.

depends who it was.... there are a few people who im close to who i would not mind saying... to everyone else, probably something like 'alot' then say the ' why do you want to contribute'
