How you met your FH

Hey girls,

I thought it would be fun if we could all share our stories of how we met our FH......I will go first, lol.

I met my future husband almost 9 years ago when my cousin and his friend introduced us. My cousin was dating his friend at the time and thought that we would like each other. We hit it off and have been together ever since.

we hung out at the same pool hall and never really talked. then we started working together. I gave him my # 4 times before he fianlly called me lol

FH and I went to school together but didnt know each other until senior yr AP bio class, but had mutual friends.... we became friends and started dating a year after we graduated.

through mutual friends - we pranked my best friend's ex and he happened to be hanging out with him.....and here we are! lol

I met my fh through a co-worker. He is friends w/ alot of the teachers that I work with. They all went to that school when they were younger. So my first year there we went to happy hour and he was there and after talking for a while he asked for my #. We moved in together 6 months later

i admired FH from afar from a longgg time. he is older than me - i was in the same grade as his younger brother. throughout high school i'd torture the younger brother 'your brother joe is sooooo hot' (lol). then, one day after i was home from college for the summer, i was at a traffic light in my car with the music blasting and i was SCREAMING at the top of my lungs. i looked to the left and who was there - FH. i got SO mortified that i made an illegal right on red. lol. then, i went to the bars in port jeff (that's right, underage) later that night with two friends who also knew of my little crush on FH - one of them played on a softball rec league with FH. when we got there, who was there but of course FH. my friend who played softball of course forcibly introduced us. we talked all night, closed down the bar, went on our first date a week later and saw each other every day for six months after that (i went to NYU in the fall and he worked in the city). the rest is history!

We met on matchmaker.com!!!!!!!!!!

He wrote to me and our first date was 12 hours! I have his first letter to me framed in the living room with the movie ticket from that date. We went to dinner, the movies and then back to my house to watch a movie...

Wow - I was just talking to my girlfriend about going to one of the dating websites. This really gives me hope - I can't wait to tell her!

His best man also met his wife on there....

Most of the guys on there are not looking for anything more than a boom boom...but there are good ones out there!!!!!

His best man actually wrote to me and I never wrote him back. It made for a very uncomfortable first meeting with him....but FH & I had already talked about it and I had a great comeback for him...he had also written my roommate at the time the same email!!!!! It was rather funny actually and looking back now we joke about it!!!
