On Jericho Turnpike, someone cut over two lanes of traffic. Flatbed in front of him jammed on brakes - he did too but not enough time. Car is TOTALED. Thankfully he is only suffering from aches and pains, nothing serious. We spent a few hours at Winthrop getting him checked out. What a wonderful week this has been

How is he doing today?

He's doing alright. Achey and all that but nothing broken, etc. (all though I want to kill him right now - he was in such a pissy mood last night). His 'backup' car is a 72' monte that does not have seatbelts in the back, so that means I'll be toting Amber back and forth from Patchogue to Merrick everyday until we can get the whole car situation resolved. And he was complaining about how inconvenienced HE is right now

OMG - I haven't been online in DAYS and I was so shocked when I saw this post!!! How terrible for you and DH for this to happen. I am SO glad that he is okay though!!!!

Sharon!!! I wasn't online last night and I just saw this post this morning.

I am so sorry to hear about your hubby's accident! I am glad to hear he is well, of course! I know the car is replaceable yet I know that on a whole this puts a strain on all of you. So sorry!!

Hang in there sweetie! I wish there was something I could do to help. You guys are in my thoughts (and tell DH to be NICE )
