Just trying to help, no need for sarcasm. I guess I'll keep my comments to myself next time. :-)

No offense intended, no offense taken. Best of luck with your job search. The economy is in such sorry state and it seems like many employers are taking advantage of it.

Hang in there Chippa. The right job will come along.
So silly about the degree. What does a piece of paper mean?? My job required a degree. So I guess my psych degree is somehow helping me in an IT position.
What ever happened with the AMEX interview???

Re: I am a little sad
Chip- I went to suffolk community first and got my 2 year degree. Now I am Stony Brook- both are cheap. Don't wait for the sally mae stuff. you want to apply for aid, not a loan. (you will probably end up using both). You should finsih up your credits not while you are not working. Over the summer they have classes that are 2 weeks long! Go here- http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
If you want more info fm me- I have been going to college for 7 years! I hav a lot of info!

SS AMEX Blows....
They sent me for a microsoft program exam. the results were then sent to HR and after HR reveiewed them sends them to the hiring manager for his review. Based on the results of the exam its his choice if he wants to interview me.
I've called HR 3 times and I was told its the person's choice and the fact that I havent heard most likely means I havent met his standards.
Today lets just add more bad news, my dream job, the job i wanted from day one of the interviews I received the 'thank you for taking the time to come and see us, though you have great credentials and we are very impressed with your skills we can not offer you the job'
