I am beyond nervous..

Ok so realize... it has only been 1 month into the school year... less than that actually.. 20 days. and I am being observed tomorrow!! for 50 mins!! UGH.. I mean being new to the school this year, and with my school having OCD high standards... the AP and principal pop in EVERYDAY for a few mins, as they do to other classes.. Anyways, I told the AP today to get the cold pack ready because expect to see me passed out during my lesson..
I am soo soo nervous... I already told my students that the AP is coming in because she wants to see what a well behaved great class this is and tell the rest of the 4th grade classes lol One says: 'Will they have their notebook with them? and is the Principal coming also?' loool

Anyways, please please please wish me luck... I feel my heart racing

I will keep you updated on how it goes!

I would tell my students (4th grade) about bribing them about a party, however what if one of my students asks after the lesson, 'so how about that party?' I would be mortified. I have a student in my class who has ADHD and has a tendency to blurt out inappropriate things at the wrong times lol

i started my student teaching this semester and the principle is observing me text week!!!! im like, why?!?! i dont work here! im not student teaching for YOU! my co-op teacher sees how im doing everyyyy day & my supervisor from college has been here twice to observe me now. why do you gotta come too?! lol

good luck!! you'll be fine, im sure! I've found my students are always angels when theres someone watching in the room, so hopefully your's are the same!

Ok so heres the update... my observation went great... I mean knock on wood, I still will meet with her for the post observation in a few days. But she observed me for an hour and a half.... literacy block is 90 mins... so yeah I cant believe she stayed that long and let me just say that the time flew by.. my students are usually really good, but today they were soooooooo quiet and perfect you could hear a pin drop! I was sooo proud of them...hehe. As I was doing the closure lesson at the meeting area, I was sending students off to their seats by table and guess what!?!?! the prep teacher walked in!! perfect timing!!

Thank you ladies so much... Now for the post obs lol... I heard she is ROUGH with feedback and suggestions. but some of the teachers really helped calm my nerves and thank you ladies again for the support..I really really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart<333!!!
