If some of you haven't noticed yet I have been visiting the site for sometime now yet I wasn't engaged. So last night he popped the question! And he used the second love of my life our dog to do it.

You should definitely order informals (stationary) for all of those engagment gifts you are going to recieve!

CONGRADULATIONS..Now break down and tell us HOW & WHEN??
My b-day is in a couple of weeks and he told me that Wedn he was going shopping for my gift and that it was a surpsire. We had agreed he would meet me at my house afterwards. Well Wedn night he shows up to my house 2 hrs late! I lost it! We have argued about this in the past and we always agreed that if your going to be late, call the other just not to worry them. Mind you its raining, I am hungry (we were supposed to go out for dinner), frustrated and scared b/c I haven't heard from him.
When he arrives I wouldn't even look at him and his poor 'sorry' made it worse. I told him to leave and he did. Thurs. he kept bothering me at work asking me to come by and he would explain everything. I was still upset and towards the end of the day, with the help of my good friend, I said I would go to his house. We get there and he takes our dog for a walk. When he comes back in he says that Benji (dog) has something for me. So I look down and I say Benji what do you have for mommy? At this pt Carl turns off the tv and is just staring at me. Dense that I am, had no idea what he was up to. I notice Benji has a blue ribbon on his neck so I begin to pull it and as I am doing so the box falls in my hand.
I look at the box and am thinking this is a really nice box! Again dense me, didn't get it. I open the box and my mouth dropped. He then bent down on his knee and proposed! So I say yes followed by I am so sorry for being such a b****!! He was getting my ring on Wedn. That was the reason he was 2 hours late. He had to go into the city and left his cell at home. So if he called me from the street I would start nagging him so that is why he never called.
We aren't sure yet when the date is but we were thinking early 2004 in order to save for the wedding and a home. We haven't had the budget talk yet with the folks b/c his dad is in the hospital and I want him to be a part of all the planning from the beginning. It wouldn't be fair if we didn't include him. So let the fun begin!!!
I can't wait and am looking forward to it all.
My question is when should we have an engagement party giving the fact that our big day may be in 2004?
