So I have decided I am not a fan of my dress. I loved it at first, especially the price (200) but after trying it on I have just decided Im not crazy about it. I feel like it makes me look fat and I dont want to feel like i have to suck in my stomach all day. and its way too long and fits weird in the chest. It isnt from a bridal store so I would have to take it some place to get altered, and I dont want to spend the money to just continue to hate it!! My wedding is in less than 5 months,,,what am i going to do? I cant afford an expensive dress..The most I can spend is probably around 6-700 dollars. I want something simple but looks bride-y at the same time. Nothing too poofy..
anyone want to help??
***UPDATE*** I went to David's tonight and found a BEAUTIFUL dress! I didn't order yet because I want to be absolutely sure that I want it before I get it. The only thing is they have to order my size and it will take 6 weeks at least, and I will need alterations (possibly to take it in, and then turn it from a straight across neck to a sweetheart neckline) Do you think I have enough time? And does anyone knoe any good seamstresses for a good price?

awww don't freak out!! I think we all go through this!!!! but if you are certain that you want another dress you can def get a dress for that price from Davids Bridal!

have you looked at RK Bridal? They have a lot of dresses i'm sure you could find something... they also price match if you find it somewhere cheaper! HTH

Try Davids Bridal, I had a really good experience there even though many people said they didn't and I only paid $550 for my dress

I ordered mine from 'thebridalstoreonline.com' and it was $399 for the dress,tiara,pocketbook and shall, and I swear it came in 2 days! Just have to order 1 size up from your normal size. Good luck, its def possible to change it and save $$

Why dont you try hunting down one of the Maggie Sottero trunk sales? From what i hear you can get like 50% off regular price. Or call around places for a sample sale.
Im not sure where your located but you should take a trip to Fantasia Bridal. Tell them what you can spend and your time frame and they may be able to find you something. My cousin planned her wedding in under 3 months and got a gorgeous brand new sample from them for a decent price.

What about a sample sale? You can absolutely get great deals there & you leave with the dress (so that works for you with 5 months left). Also, I knew someone who recently got a Jim Heljm dress from eBay for around $700 & it was in perfect condition!! Just check the sellers history & credit rating & make sure they are legit....
hmmm just go shopping again.. allure gowns are really nice and some of htem are simple same with some demetrios gowns.. go to davids and see what they have!

Try the Ann Taylor Celebrations collection - they have some really pretty bridal gowns that are affordable.
