So I have decided I am not a fan of my dress. I loved it at first, especially the price (200) but after trying it on I have just decided Im not crazy about it. I feel like it makes me look fat and I dont want to feel like i have to suck in my stomach all day. and its way too long and fits weird in the chest. It isnt from a bridal store so I would have to take it some place to get altered, and I dont want to spend the money to just continue to hate it!! My wedding is in less than 5 months,,,what am i going to do? I cant afford an expensive dress..The most I can spend is probably around 6-700 dollars. I want something simple but looks bride-y at the same time. Nothing too poofy..
anyone want to help??
***UPDATE*** I went to David's tonight and found a BEAUTIFUL dress! I didn't order yet because I want to be absolutely sure that I want it before I get it. The only thing is they have to order my size and it will take 6 weeks at least, and I will need alterations (possibly to take it in, and then turn it from a straight across neck to a sweetheart neckline) Do you think I have enough time? And does anyone knoe any good seamstresses for a good price?

I wouldn't wait too long, but you definitely have enough time. i didn't do alterations until about a month before my wedding. I was happy with the alterations i received at Angel's bridal, although you need to be careful b/c there were pins left in my dress.

Congrats! When I ordered my dress from Davids I was told 6 weeks as well..but it arrived in one week! So 6 weeks might just be an outside number that they gave you...

Its beautiful I have almost the same dress that I got from them! Like someone else said they also told me 6 weeks and it was in withing 2 weeks. I would say order it as long as you are sure!!

Yea I would also try RK they have alot of sales and clearance stuff there too.
