So I have decided I am not a fan of my dress. I loved it at first, especially the price (200) but after trying it on I have just decided Im not crazy about it. I feel like it makes me look fat and I dont want to feel like i have to suck in my stomach all day. and its way too long and fits weird in the chest. It isnt from a bridal store so I would have to take it some place to get altered, and I dont want to spend the money to just continue to hate it!! My wedding is in less than 5 months,,,what am i going to do? I cant afford an expensive dress..The most I can spend is probably around 6-700 dollars. I want something simple but looks bride-y at the same time. Nothing too poofy..
anyone want to help??
***UPDATE*** I went to David's tonight and found a BEAUTIFUL dress! I didn't order yet because I want to be absolutely sure that I want it before I get it. The only thing is they have to order my size and it will take 6 weeks at least, and I will need alterations (possibly to take it in, and then turn it from a straight across neck to a sweetheart neckline) Do you think I have enough time? And does anyone knoe any good seamstresses for a good price?

aww dont freak at all, u should def go to look for a new dress so u feel beautiful on ur day, i woulod recommend davids bridal as much as i hate the service there, they do have some very nice inexpensive gowns

yeah i would def make an appointment because the people there are so not accomadating, but if u find ur perfect dress there just buy it and dont complain until u have everything back at ur house lol have funnnnn and dont let anyone sway ur choice

My gown is just a white gown from the dress dept. at Macy's. I put a crinoline slip under it, got a nice veil and bolero and you would never know it is not a bridal dress. And it was VERY inexpensive. You can see pictures of it in my album. I highly recommend trying that.

Aww Jen! Have you tried putting on some kind of spanx or something like that with the dress? I hope you find something you love!

find a dress you love, go looking now!! then call carol at burtons Bridal she will give you the best price.
the dress i found they wanted 1400 for it and Carol is getting it for me for close to 1/2 that!!!

well I got my dress back and its the wrong coloring of beading and I hate it. the salon is willing to get me a new dress and I have 6 weeks to my wedding.
I would go to davids bridal and get a new dress. You want to feel beautiful on your day.
