We are getting SO many more no's than we expected. We invited about 206, and only about 135 have said yes. We are waiting for about 8 more responses. I am SO stressed now because we promised them at least 150!! I think we told them we would have about 175!! Boy am I off!! They told me they would count our 5 piece band and our photographer and his assistant into the count if need be, but I would rather have people there to fill the seats I have to pay for!! I think I am going to go crazy!! There are alot of FH's parents friends that are saying no, which is actually making FH's family upset. There is some drama with some family members. PLUS, one of his cousins was to be married last March. He got cold feet, and they moved the wedding to this Oct. Well, the she got pregnant and now they are getting married the same exact day as us!!
We even went to our B list, which only had about 10 people on it, and only 2 of them have said yes!! I need to find more people to invite!!!

Ugh, sorry to hear that. We are in the same situation, ended up inviting about 270 (after going to our B list), looks like we'll have 143 at this point (guarantee 150 but I said we'd probably have 175-200!). I just keep thinking the people that really matter will be there!

Same here, we invited 235 and only have 139 adults and 7 kids. Our min is also 150 so we will have to include some vendors in the count. We thought a lot more people would come but this way you get to spend more time with the people that are most important

Sorry to hear about all those nays!! Most especially the ones due to the family drama. Are some of the no's due to the cousin that is getting married on your wedding day? That was not right of them to do that, I'm sure they could have put their wedding off for at least one more week!
Have faith though that your day will be a perfect one that you will share with those that count the most!!

Thanks so much girls!! I know that the important people will be there to share my day, and the less people, the more time I can spend with the people I care about!

i'm in the same boat. the people we def thought were coming are not & the people we thought would not are. but we are still very short and won't meet our minimum.
