I know this is not wedding related, but you girls help me out with so many of my wedding stuff. I have only been to one and that is when I was 12 and I am not Jewish so I am at a loss. Thanks!!

P.S. I am looking to spend around $50.00-$75.00--is that enough??

You can give anything that you would give for a Christening or a shower or anything baby-related. A cute outfit, a savings bond, etc. Whatever you would give for a new baby of any religion, you can give for a briss.

yes - to make your life easier, ask if they have a REGISTRY. that sounds like more than enough $$ to me.

I am Jewish, and a lot of Bris's that I have been to, not that it has been many, you can give any related baby item, or even a bond. Infact, it will show that you are investing in the baby's future. Or if you are going to give a check or cash, you can give it in denominations of 18.00, or Chai, which is considered good luck. (Ex- Double Chai would be 36.00, triple Chai would be 48.00, etc.)
