I am hooked but need help finding my way around

I thought I would be able to figure out how to use this site. For the most part I think am doing pretty well.. Can someone please explain how forum mail works. I would also like a translation for the basic accronyms. Thnks very much.

look uo above the posts and see mailbox. click there to read or send forum mail
