I am MARRIED!!!!
I am not too frequent of a poster on these boaords but they were indispensible in planning my wedding especially because I planned it from Colorado.
I just want to say that overall my wedding day was a dream come true. I got married at Lombardi's on the Sound and the rain held out and I was able to have a beautiful ceremony outside. The food was delicious and my guests had a great time and that's what mattered to me the most.
The day went by too fast but I had such a wonderful time. For the most part I was pleased with my vendors but I am very particular about good customer service and there are definite issues that I plan on dealing with when I get back from my honeymoon.
I will give a full, detailed review when I am back from my HM.
One vendor deserves my gratitute ASAP and that Laura and her assistant Jill from LA Productions. If there were any two people that went above and beyond that day it was the two of them. If you can work using Laura into your budget I highly recommend it. She saved the day numerous times and never left my side unless she was getting something straightened out for me.
Also girls Taralei is worth the wait. Her work is impecible. Jacqueline Nicole was phenomenal. I never felt so beautiful in my entire life.
Steve and Tim from Patken were so patient that day because typical of a bride I was not ready on time. My proofs are not ready (obviously) but even though I know some shots I wanted were not done I think I will be pleased with what Steve took. My list was 4 pages long so I don't think any photographer could remember it all without someone reading it off to him. I think Tim and Steve brought good luck because the sky was gray all day not but not a single drop of rain fell until my cocktail hour was over.
If I can give any advice to brides getting married it is try to keep smiling no matter what. There won't be much you can do to change the little things that go wrong, and trust me things will go wrong! Just remember that day is about you and your husband and getting married and your guests won't notice any of the things you notice....trust me. No one had a clue that my vendors were screwing things up (details will be in review).
Thank you again everyone for your ideas and reviews. I could not have planned my wedding without them. Good Luck to all upcoming brides!! I hope your day is as wonderful as mine was. Enjoy being princess for a day.
