I am new & I Need advice... Hope this isn't a stupid question..
Hello I have popped in and out of this board (I am not married yet but I cannot wait to have a or )
I am 32 & will be married on NOV 7, 2004. AND I am on the pill.
The thing is that I want to, and hope to, get pregnant right away so that I can have the baby be born by June (I am a teacher without tenure)....
I know that these 'plans' don't always work out & that I may have to walk down the aisle already a few weeks pregnant (which is fine with me). BUT I do not want to have my period on my wedding day either (my AF is heavy without the pill)
Anyway here's my question: When should I go off the pill, & DTD so that I can have a baby born in June? & when should I pick my OBGYN ? Thanks in advance!

All I can do is tell you what is going on with me.
My OB/GYN recommended being off the pill for three months before TTC. Furthermore...after a month of being off the pill, I get the results back from my bloodwork that my OB/GYN ordered, and I have NO Immunity to the chicken pox..so she strongly advised me to get the immunization before TTC.
Every MD I've spoken with says DO NOT TTC for THREE Months after the last immunization (you need two as an adult)...So I go for my last immunization tomorrow..and then another three months of waiting before TTC.

You should go off at least 2 months before trying.
Are you going to try before the wedding? Because if you get PG in Nov the baby will come in August.

I also want to get pg right away, my gyno told me to go off this month, and she gave me a prescription to start taking vitamins

So If i want to deliver by (Mid) June, I should TTC in September (Late?) and go off the pill in June or July ? in other words this month or next? is that right?

I would go off after you finish this cycle. As for when to conceive if you want a June baby then yes you woul try in Sept. But you will only be able to when you are ovulating and that may not be at the end of the month. You should start tracking your cycle. And remember it doesn't always work out as planned. It could take a few months for it to happen. So be prepared you could have a July/Aug/or Sept baby!
