I just called to rent a Church hall in Brooklyn for July the second. I know I am cutting it close. They are booked. I am so upset. Does anybody else know of a cheap place to hold a reception. I am almost desperate. We just wanna get married already. It does not have to be fancy, just presentable. Please.

There's a Knights of Columbus in Oceanside, not sure how much it is, but it is really pretty from the outside. Maybe give them a try...good luck!

If you want to travel out to suffolk. Mediterrean Manor has really good deals, and their food is great!!! check out medmanor.com

I know that there are a couple of really nice receiption halls on Long Island that have package deals for about 10-12K .
The Brentwood Country Club The Stuart Thomas Manor Ariana Waterfall

How much are you looking to spend per person? It's short notice so you might get a better price at some unexpected places for that reason alone. Also, how many people?

Oh yeah, like 200 people. I am inviting everyone and their momma, Seriously, that is why I am on such a budget. I want all these people there. I do not wanna spend so much on one person so that way I can have all of my people there.

Do you need a reception site in Brooklyn? I would try the Bayridge Manor in Bayridge Brooklyn I think they are somewhat reasonable.
Id also call Leonards I hear they can accomadate most all budgets:)

I think Leonard's quoted me eighty something pp on a Saturday night NEXT August, so you can probably get a really good deal if they have something available this July.

I wanted to say that since you are planning so close to the date a place that has the date still open will be anxious to book it and give you a GREAT deal.
Also in Queens try Le Cordon Bleu. They have really reasonableprice and GREAT food

I hade my E-party there. Its a perfect place for a small wedding. Fm if interested!
ETA: I saw that you may have 200peopl. This room will fit them and at a reasonable price. If Im not mistake, Cloddy is also having a wedding there..u may want to FM her about some prices. I had a buffet, not sit down and they can incur a price difference.
