I am proud of myself but some of you girls may be mad at me...

Okay so, it's not even 2 months after my wedding day, and I JUST put my thank-you cards in the mail (well, for my side, anyway). I already wrote out most of DH's side, just need to finish them this weekend.

DON'T be mad at me for getting it done so quickyl! I am too anal and OCD to have them sitting there and not get them done right away

A few of my cousins got married in April and May and they haven't sent theirs out yet. Ooops

hahah they are going to hate you! But great job getting it done!! We sent our first big batch at the 3 month mark and the 2nd big batch a week later....we got the last batch out (our friends) the week before we were going to another friend's wedding b/c we wanted them all to get them before that! SO we got them all out b/w 3-4 months......in other words, great job, you're so on the ball!

Good for you!! Thats awesome! Iam still waiting for my photographer to give mine to me!! I called him last week but have not gotten a call back!! Iam going to call him again today!!

That's part of the reason I was able to get them out so fast - I had my photographer's proofs 2 weeks after the wedding, and we knew which pic we wanted immediately! So I had my thank you cards like 3.5 weeks after the wedding and was able to start writing them. I did like 10/day and got them all done

Yes, I am one of the people that is mad it took me 6 months (but it really was my photographers fault)

I'm like you, i like to get them out early!!! I had my shower thank yous out 4 days after my shower. The only thing holding up my wedding thank yous are my proofs!!

I sent my thank you pics two weeks after the wedding, my dh is very anal and had me do it right away. we got alot of compliments on them.

Good Job! I'm getting my TY cards and pics next week, so I'll start writing them then.

My 1st cousin got married in April and they didn't even order the TY pics yet!! I told her to hurry up, because I'm going to send mine ASAP and knowing our family, people will have something to say if they get mine before hers!

At least they're done!! We are going to be moving within the next 3-4 weeks and so are waitng to send them out after we get a new address (so we don't have to inform people again... this way they'll just have it on the envelop itself).

By then, it'll be one month after the wedding which isn't so bad.

thats great you are very ahead of the game i thought i did good at sending mine out at 3 months

Hahah awesome! I got mine's out last week and it was such a relief to know that all of my 'duties' for the wedding were finally over!!!!

I am SURE my family will have something to say about my cousins' who got married earlier who still haven't gotten theirs out, yet mine are already out. But, then again, they all know me and my organization, so they shouldn't be too shocked

I also wanted everyone to see our new return address labels so we *hopefully* get lots of holidays cards this year

Great job for getting them done, doesn't it feel good? I had all of ours (except vendors and no-gifters, waiting a little longer on those) out by the 1 month mark and people really appreciated it. It was also fun to relive the wedding while i was still in wedding mode

i have to send my shower thank you's out - its been about a month since my shower - i have a strategy though - i want them to go out 1.5 weeks before the RSVP date - hopefully getting my thank you will remind any stragglers that they have to send their RSVP back
