I am sad about my shower...

I know I should be happy my shower is coming up but out of 17 friends invited, 10 can't come.

We are way under what my aunt guaranteed at the restaurant---she even sent invitations out super early so that people could plan ahead....just stinks that so many people are busy on a Sunday afternoon in May....

Just needed to vent....

Can she change the number on the reservation? A small crowd is nice too...don't feel bad. Remember what it's for, the big day is coming!

I have one of the girl's showers that can't come the week after my wedding that I planned to come back early from my mini-moon to attend...it makes me feel like an idiot for making FH come back home early!

I'm worried too. So many of my guest list is OOT. I know they'll be there for the wedding, but I don't know if they will make a trip for the shower. I don't expect it although it's still disappointing.

I'm sure you're shower will be great and your guest will make it special for you.

im sorry hun, i know for me at least i have like 5 million things to go to in may and june, and had to turn down other events cuz i already have a wedding/shower/baptism on that day...i hope more people are able to come to your shower though... have you invited any co-workers?
