on Saturday morning we went to the beach, and as I was about to get into the water, I handed dh my ering and wedding band.

long story short, that was the last time I saw them. we are not sure what happened, but think they may have been blown to the far corners of Oahu when we shook the blanket out.

we searched in the sand for about an hour to no avail. I drew a heart in the sand and left them for some old codger with a metal detector to find in a few years....I am particularly devasted about my ering...for sentimental reasons...

Do you not have a renter's/homeowner's policy at all? Or is it that you didn't get them 'listed'?

Because if you have a policy, it covers jewelry up to a certain dollar amount.

I hope you get something similar. Your e-ring is just stunning. I love seeing other people with colored stones, I made that choice also.

I think my renter's policy covers up to $5000. in jewelry, but no one piece can be over $2500. or else it has to be a separate rider.

YOU were the one with the sapphire e-ring - I always noticed it in your GTG pics - I have a sapphire ring too - I would be very sad if I lost mine too!!!
