I am soooo confused right now...

So...I was reading through that JennBaby thread...And posters were dropping names of other sites...So...
At first I tried to go to www.thebridesreview.com
and it connected me to LIW.com...
Then...I realized it was www.***************.com and a whole other board similar to this one popped up...Even with alot of the same screen names as on here...
I guess I'm the only one who didn't know about all this...

If you type the brides review, (dot com) it directs you to long island weddings...
if you take off the e in bride and add al then it becomes little stars!!!

A while back there were a few fights between the brides from LIW and TBR. Some of the TBR brides came here and started bashing the LIW brides. Mature I know So I believe that IS why LIW blocks out TBR. Not because they're the competition

Yeah you're right. I never thought about it that way. But I remember that before all that happen with the couple of members from TBR (not all, just a select few), the name of the site was blocked. So I assumed that was the reason. I could be wrong. I guess Ron and Liz are the only ones that truly know.

Exactly! There were brides coming here from there that were banned from both sites.

I cannot believe so much drama goes on.. its like being back in the playground again!

These are WEDDING boards! There are so many other places that you can take up a fight with someone on the internet .. its such a huge place filled with wacked people that thrive on that sort of thing!

My FH is creator and administrator of his own Dodge car website, and it is a spinoff of another Dodge website that he used to be an administrator post on .. they are NOTHING but supportive of each other, even though there is a little competition.

ETA: based on Marcela and LIW's posts, I can understand a little better why they ***** out the 'competition' ... obviously it got really ugly once upon a time..
