Bear was just bought out by JPMorgan... my FH works for JPM.

yeah i just heard but who knows if they will keep everyone. my dad was in emergency meetings and hasn't been home since friday. my mom said he couldn't discuss it.

my Dad, he works for Bear Stearns for 20 years and if he loses his job at 63 who is going to hire him?????????

Don't worry yet. The Fed backed JP to try and bail Bear Sterns out. Also, places like BS will try everything to compensate the valuable people they let go even if they have to.

thanks my mom told me not to send out the std's until she had a better idea because it may cut down on the # of people we invite........ i feel bad for him and my mom they work so hard
