We are home and she looks adorable
They cut her hair to her shoulders and we love it
I have to say that she really is a caring little kid

that is so awesome! But, really, it's not so suprising. I think that you and your DH (especially given recent events like with your nephew, etc) are such caring people, and such wonderful role models to your children! People can say what they want about how society is so influential on children (which i do agree it is) BUT when parents teach their kids such strong morals and values, i think that's more powerful than what they can pick up on the 'outside'.

you should be just as proud of yourself... she really is a reflection of you!

i could not have said this better, your little girl is a doll, and its a huge reflection of how you are raising her. good job!

Re: I am very proud

Thanks to all of you
I like to think we are showing our daughters that it is always better to help someone in need than to turn away!!!
I am very proud of both my girls I have to say that they are very much like us ...always willing to help people and give rather than take
Some parents don't really care about the little things but we make sure our kids say please and thank you and all that stuff .........ok I will stop now ...I dont want to sound like a conceited or braggy parent sorry if it comes off that way

An act like that restores one's faith in youth and kindness. You have a true angel!

You should proud of how you are raising your children. I am a teacher and it amazes me how many children never say please or thank you. I have seen such a lack of respect and manners. It's so refreshing to hear a story like yours. Your daughter sounds like a great young lady!!!
