I justed wanted to thank everyone for their info on Burton Flowers. I met with Michael this morning and he was wonderful. I couldn't have asked for anything more - he gave me exactly what I wanted and the price was what I had hoped to pay. If anyone would like specifics just let me know - i'll be glad to share. I plan on calling Michael next week. Everyone seems to be so happy with him. Can you tell me what you got? I'm planning on spending around 2,000-is this possible for 17 tables, 5 bridesmaids? I think I would like to get all pastel roses for everything.

Jackie- I meet with them in two weeks...any suggestions

Michael was really great. I had a general idea that I wanted roses and calla lillies. The great thing about them is that you get any type of flowers you like and the price remains the same. I made a list of the number of centerpieces, boutineers(sp), coursages(sp), and bouquets that I would need so when I met with Michael, it was very helpful. Here is what I am getting: 1 Bridal Bouquet (all hand-tied) 1 MOH ' 4 BM ' All my bouts (approx 11) 20 Tall Centerpieces 7 Coursages 2 Big Arrangements for Church 6 Pew flower/tulle arrange (I brought a picture of something I liked) 1 Throw Away Bouquet Rose Petals 1 Arrangement for my house The price was $2400. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I really wanted the tall centerpieces but I figured with the amount I needed, it would be too expensive but he came in right at my budget. I didn't tell him my budget up front, I waited until he calculated the price. I couldn't beleive it when he told me. He told me I would meet with him in April and give him swatches of my colors and he would make a sample arrangement to see if I liked it. My centerpiece number was a general guess but he said when I give my final count - I could add more if needed. He didn't figure in the price for flowers on the cake - that he said he would do when I picked out my cake. I probably figure my price will go up maybe $100 depending on the extras I need but he is so nice - he threw in some many extras that I booked him right on the spot.
