I booked the Swan Club -- any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, my fiance and I are very excited about having out wedding at the Swan Club. May 15, 2004 an evening wedding. Can anyone tell me what menu items they chose. Any suggestions would be welcomed. We have decided to take pics. b/4 hand so any spots like Old Westbury Gardens or the Arbotoreum (Oyster Bay), I have to clue how to spell it... anyway, other photo ideas.

The grounds are gorgeous, why can't you get there early and take pics there?

I was thinking to take pics. there and at another spot, I thought too many of the pics. would look the same. I may be wrong, I am so new at this.... I am not sure if that would be too much running around for us... I plan to have my immediate family and his and my MOH and his BM. We aren't having a large bridal party.

Hubby's cousin got married there and it was beautiful, the only thing that I did not like all the receptions seem to start and end at the same time, so it was a long wait to get the car

I felt rush with each course that was served. Hubby and I got up to dance and we did not touch our food, when we returned they had taken our plates.

I cannot comment on the food, never got to taste it, it was plentiful tho' The grounds are very nice. Use it to your advantage. All the best and happy planning.

Hi! I am having my reception at the Swan Club this July. We are taking our photos there before the cocktail party. We've seen photos of what it will look like at that time of year and it is so beautiful!

We went for our tasting last month. The filet mignon and sole stuffed with seafood were excellent. The salmon was okay and the rosemary chicken was bland but had a beautiful presentation. I may go again to taste the other chicken dishes.
