Ok, so I found 'the dress' almost 2 months ago. I tried it on twice - once with FH (he loves it) and once for FMIL, FSIL and my BF. I loved it both times. I made an appointment to go try it on again this weekend at Macys because its a Demetrios and I plan on using my Mom's employee discount. I know that I love this dress BUT I keep getting really nervous about actually buying it - because once I buy it there is no turning back. I've seen so many of you post that you changed your mind about your dress - and I really don't want that to happen to me. Also, I'm going to be changing the neckline of the dress so I won't know what it looks like until the dress comes in.....so hopefully I like the change
Last night I actually couldnt sleep because I was thinking about it so much and I even had a few nightmares about it. I know I love this dress but then I see other girls with different style dresses that I love - especially trumpet style, it makes me second guess myself. FH says to get the dress, he said he loved me in it, he thinks the dress is hot and he said that I looked like I loved it so much. Ugh I do love it - I just hope I love it in 11 months!
Did this happen to anyone else? Am I crazy?

I bought my dress the day I saw it, and I haven't looked at any more dresses since then. If you don't keep looking at other dresses, you'll be less likely to not like the one you buy later. Also, is there something that you expect not to like?

no. i just think coming on here and seeing so many pretty girls in pretty dresses makes me second guess my choice.....if it wasnt for this site i wouldnt see any other wedding dresses at all

that dress will look gorgeous with a sweetheart neckline! Did they say about how long for it to come in? I think i'm ordering my demetrios dress next weekend.

don't worry! i had second guessed my dress too! BUT everytime i try it on i fall in love with it all over again..and that helps me remember why i choose the dress in the first place!!!!

i kept second guessing myself, everyone kept saying you'll just know. I think i could have tried on 100 more dresses. Iam still thinking twice every time i look at the pics. i do love my dress though

its very normal to feel this way, its a big decision. But you've been thinking about this dress for 2 months so thats a good sign. If you want to ease your mind, try on other dresses before you try on the one you love and see if the original dress just keeps sticking in your mind, which i have a feeling it will.

Can't give any supportive advice because I feel this way and I purchased my gown! But, you have been dwelling on this dress, so it must be the perfect one!!! I'm jealous FH got to see yours...I have been showing him random pics of gowns trying to get his opinion, maybe this week I will slip in the pic of the actual one...
