I can't believe this can happen to our gifts...

Guests purchased gifts and had them shipped to our old address. When our e-party passed and we still did not get them, I called Macys, and they said yes, they were shipped to the old address, and they would ship up a new one. She even said that it did not need to be signed for, and depends on the driver if it was signed for. LUCK LANDLORD, they are getting my gifts. I can't believe they can deliver an item to someone who no longer lives there.

yeah I know,,I can't believe that the landloard would accept a gift?

Should I call my landloard and tell her my new address???

What a pain. I had similar problems when I moved. My wedding gifts were going to my old address (which was the apartment next door). It was a pain but Macy's and C&B did make good on it all. The thing was I never updated my registry after my shower with my new address. People bought the few remaining items as wedding gifts. So when I went online weeks after my honeymoon - I noticed new things were missing and even new stuff was added (things I hadn't registered for). If I didn't call Macy's and find out myself I would have never known and just thought people stiffed me with gifts!

No one was living in my old apartment so some just seemed to disappear. Others eventually made their way back to the sender - it took awhile to get thru their systems though.
