I cannot believe my eyes!

this is just too horrible for words!

I know...we're used to seeing this in other countries but this is happening here...where is the help?

I have to believe that they are doing anything and everything they can to try and get people out down there...I just have to believe that. The enormity and extent of the situation is just unfathomable...I am not sure if we ever took on a task this huge and desperate. Everytime I say 'the saddest part is ____' I come up with yet another 'Saddest' part of it all. I have a similar uneasy stomach about it all as i had on 9-11. Just wanting to help and having no way to....

WHat making me nuts is why are people shooting guns all over??? Increasing the chaos is not going to help the situation.

they're insane... the anger, the heat, no food or water. I guess they're beyond desperation. but still, shooting at hospital patients??!

I keep praying that God continues to watch over each and everyone of these people. So sad hearing about the people dying...the woman in the wheelchair, the man in the picture...or the woman who hands her baby off to a stranger because the stranger was able to get on the bus going to the Astrodome.

I cant even imagine what those poor people are going through????? God bless them

It really puts everything in perspective

It is just so unbelievably sad. I cannot even concentrate at work thinking about it

I cried last night...the babies that were in NICU in LA were transported to hospitals outside the state (in Texas) and their parents have not been notified...there's no way to do so or to even verify that they're alive. Can you imagine how many orphans there are now?

What's so sad is that when I think what I see on TV can't get any worse....it does the next day
