I can't believe FMIL...

FMIL almost gave me a heart attack yesterday! She is getting her dress made and has been keeping the details a secret. Well the seamstress was at her house yesterday and I finally saw a pic of the type of dress she wants and can you believe that it freaking looks like mine!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt believe and I didnt even know what to say. She has seen a picture of my dress, so is like what the heck. I started to say, 'umm that looks very much like my dress....' it has the sweetheart top, the mermaid style, the roushing (dont know how to spell it) along the bodice, the lace detail by the skirt... she didnt seem too concerned. I told my both FSIL but she said that her mom was not planning in having it poofy and that the bodice was not going to have the roushing, but now I am skeptical and I know she wont let me see it until the day of...

That's pretty effed up of her, but try not to let it get to you. I guarantee all eyes are gonna be on you!!!

Oh god I wouldn't tell or show her what your dress looks like until the day of. And trust me, she won't steal your thunder. I never heard of of someone trying to wear a wedding gown lol.

I guess my dress without the train (and the color and the beading detai l) is not neccessarily a wedding gown because is mermaid, and not poofy but it just upset me that seeing how similar it would look, she would want to choose that out of the thousand different styles that exist.

OMG I'd never let my FMIL get a dress made without me seeing the design 1st. What if its HORRIBLE! And how dare she even wear anything close to yours. totally rude and tacky!
