I can't believe this is happeningUPDATE

With 4 days till the wedding I just had 3 people drop out of coming to the wedding. Im seriously beside my myself

I just wanted to add that it's not the fact that we might be losing this money that has gotten me so upset. The main reason Im upset is because the 3 people who dropped out were people that my FH has known his whole life! He's know these people since he was a baby! And the son in this trio is one of FH's close friends!
I just dont want you girls thinking this is a $$ issue. Its not.

Stay positive!! This has happened to everybody I know!!

A friend of mine who got married last year had a 2nd cousin pass 3 days before the wedding, and about 15 people couldn't go to their wedding.

It will be ok!! Try not to take it personally.

Soooooo sorry hun! This happened to me too. I was upset but that day I knew that everyone who was supposed to be there was. I know it's really hard, but try not to think about it or stress over it. At least not right before the wedding. This is a happy time for you! Try to brush it off

Honestly I might need a couple of you girls to come if we cant get our money back. We had till today to get any money refunded from cancellations but when I called I got an answering machine. I left a message and hopefully they will honor the fact that I called on tuesday (even though it was after buisiness hours) Ill keep you girls updated

oh soo sorry. This happened to me too! Four people within 1 week of the wedding and one who just no showed. .(boyfriend of a friend) originally I was so upset/mad/worried/stressed etc bc it all seems so big but in the end it really didnt matter

Don't take it personal. . and while the money part stinks. . to pay for people who arent going to be there. I just tried to think. . well i was going to pay it anyway. . so already thought of it as money gone. . and I know I've said this on here before but seriously I invited one person the night before when we ran into him with friends after the RD and he was sooooo happy to come.. in the end you will nEVER even notice on or two people there or not. .just try not to let it take away from your day. .

He is, but i think hes more upset about the lost money and Im more hurt that he doesnt even care about us enough to be there for our special day

One of my BMs couldn't come to the RD because her 5 year old daughter's biopsy got moved up to July 23rd. . .so she had to rush her daughter to Stony Brook in order to start weaning her off of drugs immediately. What can you do at that point? Say no, you're out of the wedding because your daughter is sick?

One of my dad's BFFs dropped out two days before because he started getting sick--just had cancer surgery. Again, what can you do? At that point, their health has to come first. It is what it is, and your day will be AWESOME no matter what.
