Fh and I are not church goers but it was important to my mom and Fmil that we get married in the church. Plus I am too old fashioned to do a reveal so I wouldnt want to get married at the rh. I always wanted to get married in a gazebo in a park by my house but my brother did that so church it is.
We are getting married in a church and having a full mass - it was important to FH to do that. There is a priest that has baptized all the kids and married the adults in his family who is coming to my parish, where I was baptized, to marry us. Its important for us to have our children baptized and have the marriage be a sacrament. So we had known the church was what we would do.
